Dorothy is a Worthington local who has been called “the guru of bark in America.” She is internationally known for her baskets formed with natural materials that she harvests from her environment. Blair’s wife Cynthia collaborates in adding color and texture to several turned peices. This unique “polymer inlay” technique has been featured in several new craft books and magazines. Cynthia also writes PolymerClayDaily.com.
Blair’s work is showcased in the Artist In Residence series, a video library of the arts. The piece is entitled, “Blair Davis: Turning Trees Inside Out” and shows how Blair turns logs into bowls.
