  1. Mr. Davis, I recently purchased a 14″X40″ lathe with no idea what I was going to do. I found your Video while searching for help. You got to love the internet. I also purchased a set of tools from Grizzly and started making scrap from dimensional lumber glued together, and some small branches. Your video has helped me and I am preparing to get into it, and try my hand at messing up my firewood pile.
    Just wanted to say thanks for posting your videos and keep on turning. I would love to see the final piece your started in the video. Did it crack?

    with much pleasure i watched both parts of the turning of a big wallnut piece on You Tube. I hoped to see a final part of the series too, to see the final result. Is it in the making?
    Thank you so much for what you have showed in this you tube films, it helped me and inspired me in my turning work.
